Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things. Philippians 4:8

Looking forward to everyone's reflections on Pieper's answers.
But I'm also wondering if we should postpone PART II - The Philosophical Act - for another time?
Let's take a poll? There are 4 chapters in Part II. We could postpone it. Or we could try to do 2 chapters a week and finish up in 2 weeks? Or we could even finish reading the book next week and do a final post?
What do others think?
I vote for postponment.
It appears to be a treastise on Catholic doctrine and I just dont think I could do it justice without more thorough study.
I will probably read it either way. I scanned part of it briefly, and it seems that the main point is that the philosophical act is the ultimate act of leisure? Probably oversimpifying...
I finally made my post, and a week's break before proceeding sounds good to me! :)
